I think it's more of a hardcorist's (thats a word now) ARPG. Diablo 3 is casual as shit. Diablo 2 was mild. And torchlight is a fun gimmick.

Diablo 3 is indeed a very cas' game. I actually like playing it more than Diablo 2 atm as both are fun, but as much as I love Diablo 2 Diablo 3 really took out a lot of the terrible aspects of it, namely of which being the stupid problem where you can't re-do your skills more than once, which I still don't get why they brought it in finally only to make it available only once.
But yea, they are both fun, Diablo 3 being incredibly cas' sure Inferno mode gets very rough but the first act of that is still mild so over-all its a nice enjoyable and relaxing experience.

There've been better games, and are, but I can't buy them all and play them to find out. Diablo 3 is the game I bought and decided to start a video game forum thread about, because I had already played the game. A lot of games are casual in gameplay, especially if you start on "easy".

Diablo 3 is not a great game, it's story is poor, the game lacks many modern features that other games have, limited options and skills, nothing has really changed over the previous games other than the graphics.
Not to mention it is one of the most expensive out there.

True, but I prefer the thrird person style of gameplay. Remember Champions of Norrath, Baulder's Gate series? Those are the kind of games that I like to play, even if some people have a lot of bad things to say about them. I won't deny it, 1st person games are very fun, but its not what I prefer.
And you said "welcome to the real world." Explain. If you don't think that I was ever part of the real world, then you should tell me why, and if you said that out of spite, then I can tell you a little about myself, and make this an argument.

World Of Warcraft is still better, although I barely played Diablo 3 to really remember or judge any of it. But it looks meh.

All the series of Diablo are interesting, Diable 3 is the best amongst all. Its a fun game, graphics are awesome.
