Those who go over the speed limit should be charged with a felony. I ALWAYS obey the speed limit. it is the law.
i think breaking any law should be a felony.

Dude, everyone speeds. In fact, I heard that the average person recieves a total of four speeding limits in his or her life. That's more than the people who smoke pot, which everyone wants to legalize. It's way too bad of an offense.

In general, I only ever raise my eyebrows if they go 20 km/h (12 mph for you Imperial jerks) over the speed limit. Even on the subway, the operator likes to bump the train a tad bit over the regular speed limit when there's a good length of tunnel ahead.

I follow the 5 mph rule on main streets, and then the 10 mph rule on the highway.

I always stick with the 5mph rule. Even on highways, since there's this one highway around here that is crawling with state troopers, and I always see someone pulled over on it.

As long as your not the fastest car on the highway, you're good to go. I know a couple highways around where I live, the police are just there to slow people down instead of pulling them over for speeding.

Besides, when do people even follow the speed limit? As long there's still plenty of room in the freeway, drivers can easily hit 80 mph without trouble because they can and even the cops knows it.
Not to mention on paper, people should also yield when the traffic light switches to yellow but instead it means "please speed up before I turn red!"

I think felony needs to be defined:
A crime, typically one involving violence, regarded as more serious than a misdemeanor, and usually punishable by imprisonment for more than one year or by death

I think the fastest I ever went was 60 in a 45mph zone. It turns out, that yes, that was the first and so far only time I ever got a speeding ticket. Since then, I have never gone that far (well, at least in terms of a percentage of going over the speed limit). The highest I ever did period was probably 75 or something in a 70mph zone.

The fastest I've ever gone was like 70-75 mph on the interstate.
The fastest I've ever gone in town was like.....55-60 in a 20 ._. No real reason why. I've only done that once though and hardly go even slightly over the speed limit now.
oh to be young and retarded......
