This is very upsetting, this does indeed happen, sometimes people even die alongside them as their body simply stops fighting to keep on going. It is always both upsetting, and also strangely nice, to think of people who become so used to living with their beloved that they can't bear to be without them.

It is always the upsetting and inevitable end to a relationship, that one of you will find their end before the other, and the other will either live without you or join soon after...I dread reaching this moment myself, as inevitable as it is. You just need to remember to live your life and be with those you love as much as you can.

That's the thing that confuses me too, you'd think that you could smell a rotting corpse from the other apartments... maybe it was a bad area or something.

Eh, it's not like it happened overnight. Especially in her state, she probably didn't notice a change in appearance from day to day.

Anyway, this story just gives me an odd mix of sadness (the story) and disgust (the photos). I hope the lady gets whatever help she needs.
