narutos first arc 2013-11-16 12:30:26 Reply

the other thread reminded me, what if naruto stayed with the gritty but realistic atmosphere it had in arc I, instead of derailing into a DBZ clone around when arc II, would it have gotten better, or would it have still been bad?

All Japanese animated cartoons fuck up and get fucked up when the main characters get older. The newest Naruto series have extremely slow pacing, and that's a good reason enough to drop it in water. But no, it's continuing!

Yeah, iIt would've been cool if they kept the plot a bit more personal instead of turning into just another doomsday scenario, just because the losses are larger doesn't make the story more interesting. Still not that bad though...
