Apparently it has something to do streaming vs. uploading videos to youtube, whatever the fuck the difference is. Streaming apparently allows for the old comments section.

Can't comment on it, a box pops up telling me to login to Google+. They're seriously taking the piss, at this point.

Dozens of sites, forum topics and videos are coming up about the backlash over this "integration".
I really hope Google gets their shit together, and fixes this.

I don't think this one will just blow over, though.

I asked who the fuck cares and you answered with everyone. Everyone mean all living people which would include me. Since I don't care that means everyone doesn't care.

But if we exclude myself there are also the people who post those kinds of comments who don't care. Cause if they cared they wouldn't be spamming that which further disproves everyone cares.

Yeah, but you can x out of it and it'll give the "We'll ask later" bullshit that they did before this update. We'll see how long that lasts, though. I don't have a google plus account and was able to comment there

Thousand upon thousands of people, in case you were interested. Youtube is one of the most popular sites on the Internet and has millions of videos, millions of users who enjoys the site, etc. Now that Google decided to revamp the site, people are complaining like crazy, and who would blame them? It's hard to navigate and update your own profile, the comments are made even worse with the advent of stuff like underline and hashtags, the latter being probably the dumbest feature ever to be put on the site. Anybody who already has an account will keep being bombarded with messages asking them if they want to replace their username with their real name, and when they decline Google will just say: "Okay, we'll ask you again later." What's interesting is that I didn't even hear about the update or notice it until I ended up getting a Youtube account because of my Google+.

Also, I have a Youtube account that I have little control over and didn't even want yet, but hey, I've wanted a Youtube account for awhile. Honestly, I'm not as bothered by the revamp as others, but I can definitely agree that the site was a lot better before all this happened.
