Yeah, but maybe it will be a language one day ;)
Atheist Churches exist ;) So who knows ;)
a society where atheists were in the majority would fall apart really quick lol

This doesn't even make sense in any way. Not believing in god isn't the same as not believing in christmas, one is a deity that might exist and the other is a fucking annual real-world event.

That was the silliest crap ever. Western society be damned.

Latin what?
Atheist language will consist of a gratuitous misuse of "euphoric", "enlightened", and "oppression". The uniform policy of atheist churches will be fedoras and trenchcoats. The atheist communion will be doritos and mountain dew. They'll read passages from The God Delusion and speak of the great accomplishments of Ayn Rand.
You don't have to be a Christian to celebrate Christmas. Atheists don't have to believe in the existence of a deity to take part in an annual holiday.
Just chillin' like always.
I celebrate Christmas every year and know no atheist that does not. It is important for me to mark the days following the winter solstice, just as it was for pagans in 4000BC.

Also, Christmas gifts.
Regardless of beliefs, who doesn't like Christmas gifts?

Atheism is a belief system.
How can that be a language?
Also Christmas was originally Saturnalia. A Pagan festival celebrating the god Saturn. God of Capitol, generation, dissolution, plenty, wealth, agriculture, periodical renewal, liberation, and time.

Christmas has basically been refined as a celebration of charity and gift-giving anyhow.
My parents are atheist so I didn't even know about the Jesus part when I was a kid. They just emphasized being grateful etc.

latin is a language, yes, but it is not the same as saying christianity is a language, it was the language of the Romans, who originally worshipped gods who we have named the planets of our solar system after. in fact, in the bible, the latin-speaking Romans were the bad guys.

According to the Eurobarometer Poll 2010,
• 18% of Swedish citizens responded that "they believe there is a god".
• 45% answered that "they believe there is some sort of spirit or life force".
• 34% answered that "they do not believe there is any sort of spirit, god, or life force".
According to the Eurobarometer Poll 2012, the religions in Sweden are the following
• Protestants 41%
• Orthodox 1%
• Catholics 2%
• Other Christian 9%
• Buddhist 1%
• Other 3%
• Atheist 13%
• Agnostics 30%
Phil Zuckerman, an Associate Professor of Sociology at Pitzer College, writes that several academic sources have in recent years placed atheism rates in Sweden between 46% and 85%, with one source reporting that only 17% of respondents self-identified as "atheist"
• Only 1 in 10 Swedes thinks religion is important in daily life.
• Around 7 out of 10 children are christened in the Church of Sweden.
• Just over 5 out of 10 weddings take place in church.
• Almost 9 out of 10 Swedes have Christian burials.
• Islam has around 130,000 adherents in Sweden (more according to Muslim sources).
Atheism is a religion, pretty much the absence of a religion actually. Religions don't have languages, because while religion and culture often go hand in hand, they are different things. I think you just posted this to be edgy and if that was your motive, then let me assure you, you have succeeded.

Fuck that stupid bullshit, I still celebrate Halloween and Christmas and stuff my face on Thanksgiving. It has nothing to do with religion anymore, these holidays are in our culture.

Just putting numbers to what you were saying. Self-reported atheism is low, self-reported agnosticism is high. Most people in Sweden see religion as incredibly unimportant and irrelevant, the rate of atheism varies between polls depending on the way the questions are phrased. It's more accurate to say that religion is simply a non-issue in Sweden, like asking someone what sort of socks they wear.

Yano, less than 50% of Brits or Japanese are parts of organised, theistic religion? Just saying, we should all be teetering on lawlessness and collapse.
This thread reminds me of certain people trying to point out supposed atheist contradictions with "Well if you don't believe in a god, then how come you said 'Oh my god!'" These always crack me up.
Even the most righteous, logically sound individuals are subject to poor reasoning skills and deluded mindsets.
