Rocky and Freckle and confetti!
This looks very cool. You can almost feel how happy they are.

How do you draw your lines? Have you tried just taking a picture of your sketch and drawing on top digitally? It works just fine but I know it's too much work for me personally.
A couple things i noticed about this drawing, the way he's interacting with the chair is sort of unclear. It looks to me like he might be too far forward to be sitting on it but he also doesn't appear to be supporting his weight in his legs and leaning against the back of the chair.
The other thing is that the table on the right with the vase on it appears to have a forward slanting top. In this perspective those lines should be parallel with the lines of the base.
I like the character a lot as well. You've managed to give him a lot of personality while keeping it nice and simple.

Actually, this is what this is with some fancy Photoshop editing.

Yeah, I noticed this too late when inking the drawing.

Oh it's straight and followed the perspective line and vanishing point correctly.
But because it's just so dang hard taking a picture of my sketches, it somewhat became like this. :C
And I even used .2 pen and ruler and everything. xD

Well, thanks for all of the advice, Sockembop! C:

Hmm, probably next month if all goes well.
There's the Newgrounds giveaway.
There's my sister who's considering buying me another new one.
And if the 2 above didn't work out, there's a good friend of mine, VacantVitruoso, who told me he's gonna get me one, despite being total strangers from different countries..
New drawing tablet has arrived!
Just messing around and doing stuff with it. C:
Back to studies tomorrow! :D

I like the the the cat and the racoon look. The pencil type brush you used on the raccoon suits your style pretty well I think. What kind of tablet did you end up getting?

Thanks! I'm still finding that a brush that I could use that feels as close to Photoshop though.
I ended up getting the Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch Small Tablet.
Terrific gestures! Bonus points if you include finger positions. Hands convey the story too.

If the lines to this were neatened up a bit I think you have something great there. It looks like something out of 1920's surrealism. Maybe it's because I don't know of this "Garnet".

I agree I could've done better with the lines.. :c
Thanks Decky.

Digging the run cycle so far. I can imagine to find it in some 2d jump and run game. Maybe want to add a couple of frames in between to smoothen it out a bit.

Its actually for a game for Step in a project they are making.
They are kinda in a hurry, so I would've added more in between frames and make the line art cleaner if I could.

Just go over them and upload it man, it'll only take a few minutes. That's portal worthy, I really like it.
- EDIT -
I see you already have uploaded it. I still would have just gone over the lines in a cartoony thick black outline. I think it would improve it greatly. Not too thick mind you.
