So I was just wondering what kind of quality the NG player supports, I know that both Soundclound and Bancamp only stream 128kbps and youtube has a pretty wonky system based on variable bitrates in order to make a video fit into a total bitrate with a maximum audio bitrate of 256kbps I believe.
So... What's Newgrounds support/stream at?

NG doesn't transcode uploads at all, so it streams at whatever bitrate the original file is.
although i don't think the audio portal supports VBR encoded files yet (but i could be wrong about that)

But Bandcamp's sound much better. Either that's false or Bandcamp just has a much better codec. Actually, that wouldn't surprise me, SoundCloud sounds like shit.

MP3 only. 44100Hz and anything between 96 to 320 Kbps. although i just realized my recent uploads to NG are all 48000 Hz, and they work perfectly fine lol.

I mean if they were converted by Newgrounds. Rendered by DAW at 48kHz 24bit BWF, then uploaded to Newgrounds. What do they become once on Newgrounds if you download them from Newgrounds?
