So I got up this morning, drove to work, was gonna get some Chick-fil-A then I remembered the dumbass policy about them being closed on Sunday

The PC message about closing on Sunday actually being practical cracks me up, all they're doing is losing a day of business and annoying people. You're a fucking fast food restaurant when I go to one I want to get a box of chicken nuggets not see a fucking closed sign and a sign desperately trying to make it look like the owners just aren't Christian and trying (and failing) to make a political statement or something equally gay.

Again, they're just a fast food place and all they're accomplishing by this bullshit is annoying their existing customers and possibly driving away new ones, just open on Sunday

They've been doing fine business-wise even with this policy. Sure, as much as I like the spicy chicken sandwich, I'm not really going to complain. It's a business anyways - they can do what they want, and if it hurts their business, then that's their problem.

Several states still ban the sale of alcohol on Sunday, and I'd imagine Chick-Fil-A is popular in many of those states, so it's the same mindset.

I actually agree wholeheartedly. Can't tell you how many times I am like "Eh I start work at 11:30 today I think I'll get some chick-fil-a on the way to work. Then I am screaming out loud(I am on a scooter) when I drive up towards the restaurant and realize it's abandoned because it's Sunday and I forgot AGAIN these dumb fucks aren't open today for no other reason than "god says so".

God fucking dammit. Sometimes I wish they just closed down for good then I can't be disappointed every time I go there and they are closed for some dumb reason.

A company/business should be closed on whatever day they want...it obviously doesn't hurt their bottom line, and most importantly keeps employees happy, which carries over into every other aspect of the business, which leads to their success.

Back in the old days, places weren't all open 7 days a week. Crazy, huh?

I think it's stupid that any place of business closes on Sunday.

Here we don't have any stores open on Sundays, but with the new right wing government in charge, some might actually consider it since it has now been legit that stores can be open on Sundays.
I dont see the reason to wait one day, that way, one can't fatten themself up on the resting day.
So better to buy food on Saturday and stick with that til Monday is my suggestion :)

Eh they stopped donating groups the FRC and such so they don't bother me like that now.
Their chicken is at the food court right next to my dorm so I eat it every week. Better than nothing when all the other lines are crowded.

The Sunday thing is the only thing that annoys me about them now.
