Free Zebra (2.5+) Patches

Hey Guys!!!

Head over to the construction website of CentralComposers at here:

CentralComposers

Head to the 'Free Downloads' tab and you will see the file to download....

The .RAR file contains 39 customized presets I have made for personally use and some are being used in Cinematic Rhythms!

Sounds consist of Pulsing Rhythms, Rhythmic Plucks, 'Drum'-alike rhythms, simple instruments and also some FX...

I am actually starting to feel more comfortable with Zebra as I have been studying it more so I will be on it for a while! :)

Hope you enjoy some of the presets.... There are no 'previews' or 'demo' tracks so I am sorry but you will have to take a risk and try them out! :P

Feel free to use them in any matter, or feel free to take the patch and edit it as your own...

(NOTE)

If you don't know where to put your patches then follow this:

Go into the folder where you installed Zebra 2 (U-he)...

Inside the folder you can find, the .data folder....

Inside the data folder you will find another called 'Presets'.....

and then one more called Zebra2

Drag the folder from the downloaded .RAR file into this folder (into Zebra2) and find it on the 'Patches' tab in Zebra....

I'm amazed at how such a small-sized plugin can sound so good. this is one of the synths that Hans Zimmer uses, right?

oh and your presets sound awesome! I might be using quite a few of them in the score I'm currently working on. =)

Speechless!!!

All presets are top notch, specially rhythmic. This is a great work and a very kind gesture of yours, Bspendlove. I will certainly use them in my projects. Zebra is amazing and now am using it in all my pieces, at least the last two ones.

I have also recently got hold of this awesome plugin. Tried Youtube and some other sites but couldn't find the tutorials, however thanks to some of them I came to know of a 'little' basics. If you don't mind telling, could you please mention some websites apart from the native one where I could be able to learn it more in depth?

Some of the tutorials I found out on YouTube was 'ADSR', the guy is very good with explaining how to get specific sounds, although I have not really looked into much websites...

I recently received a book on Sound Synthesis because I was always interested, and it really helps knowing what each knob does xD (Before, I just randomly flicked buttons and turn't knobs... You can get alright results)

I have also looked at loads of patches that I wanted to create a similar sound and looked at what they did and what they connected what to, I actually don't really know that much, just the basics about Oscillators, Filters (Subtractive Synthesis), LFOS, FMs, all the simple things really) :P

Exactly what I am doing now. Am going through the settings of envelopes, LFOs' oscillators, etc and trying to grab the technical implementation of them in a preset. Thanks for the ADSR tip. Looks promising. I am pretty impressed by the percs sounds it can make after looking into the HZ presets. Thanks for the reply.

@Elitistinen: You SHOULD, and I bet you will love it once you will go into its technical details. Its a small thing doing wonders. Its original presets are enough to make you feel satiated. Check out U-he Zebra 2 demos on Youtube. Then check how Hans Zimmer used it in The dark knight and then you can buy the bundle.

Just bumping this up for any others who have not got hands on the patches I released for free!

Make sure you put them in your Zebra2.data presets.

I started working on a volume 2 (or more like a volume 1 which actually includes a fair amount of patches)...

Around 100 patches will be released for Zebra 2 for free so make sure you look out for when they are released!

funny thing about it is that I did zero tampering with the sound! haha all I did was add a kick drum pattern with a sample from Damage.

Any ideas on some more patches other than Perc or Tonal loops?

Would be good to get some more ideas of what some people want!

Another bundle coming out soon which will be to buy, I put a lot of effort into this new bundle!

Any guys that have Zebra 2 (2.5) that want to check them out before I release them? Just need a tiny bit of feedback and you get to keep it of course! ;)

I almost lost all of them because of a recent computer spaz out but I fixed my computer now! :)

The patch has roughly 200 patches being a lot of rhythmical and percussive, most of the old bundles patches come with it in a separate folder (as a bonus) for people who have not downloaded the old bundle...
