The only thing I "disagree" with is the use of Networks. They will help turn Youtube into a corporate wasteland knock off of television.

I absolutely LOATHE the layout. It seems like every few months they make some retarded changes just as I'm getting used to the old one. It's like Google can't seem to decide which design is best, so they make the worst just to spite us. I hate how they smushed most of the options, such as changing video quality, size, and toggling annotations into one small button. Soon they might put the pause/play button in there too. I absolutely hate how I have to CLICK AND CLICK so many FREAKING TIMES just to do one small thing. "Trying to view your inbox? Click through miles and miles of aisles of useless shit first!" I also hate how, whenever the video ends, it automatically jumps to the "Share" tab, not caring whether I was trying to copy the embed code or reading the description. "Oh, so you were reading the lovely description? Well, why don't you bother your friends and send them this video that you've already sent to them three times already?"

The homepage is the worst. I can't find ANYTHING on that page because YouTube decided it would be just fine to list everything in a massive tower of stuff. Videos from one user, favourited videos from another, then the favourited videos from the first subscription, ugh!!! This is a homepage, not a wall where you can throw your unwanted office files at.

YouTube/Google also loves to interrupt videos with "Would you like to expose your real name and personal information to the rest of the world?" I have a Google account that's linked to my YouTube account, and they have different names. I want it to remain that way! Yet Google seems to have this fetus of exposing personal information that they once said "We will not share it with anybody", and then they modify their privacy policy so "We WILL share it with everybody." It makes me feel like if I gave Google my credit card number, they would say "Okay, we'll make sure nobody sees it," then turns around and says "Hey! Who wants this guy's credit card number?"

They also seem to love taking down videos that have copyrighted stuff in them. Good luck with that; almost every video has copyrighted stuff in it! Don't try to use the argument of "Fair Use" when your Downfall parody gets taken down - YouTube doesn't care what the law says, they only care what the money-makers say. Even if they did absolutely frickin' nothing!

Ever since Google bought YouTube in 2006 they've been circling the drain and pretends they're nowhere near it. Soon, one moment they'll be here and the next they're gone.

This is what happens when one company gets a monopoly on this shit. Vimeo is in second place with a whopping 8% of the visitors youtube gets. Plus vimeo is a pile of shit, but youtube isn't much better with how things are going.

It's Google making the choices. And they're catering to their own need of information rather than our desire for lazy entertainment.

YouTube has developed it's own love hate relationship ever since it rid away of the majority of fan made content. Guess they just completely overlooked that fair use law.

I assume you mean personal as in personal info. What I mean by personal, is that it is my Youtube account alone, and I also did make it before Youtube was stupid.
