Oh, but they do... just not in the way you like
Do I have to go over the difference between good and bad attention again? Or have you learned your lesson?

They did? since when? I'm pretty sure all the topics i've made on the BBS are ghost towns
I usually never care what people say or think about my topics, or posts for that matter.
You could've just posted this in shibe's thread instead of making a new one.

I'm sorry that's probably extremely insulting to hear if you have an IQ over 80

Have I ever told you that I love you?

Yes. That's one of the reasons I never make threads.

No. Mainly because I already have a general idea as to what to expect the replies to said thread will be.
Then again I can honestly not remember the last time I made a thread.
I've had a few thread ideas but I never felt like making any.
Indeed, one of the most important things for me when it comes to creating new topics is how people are going to respond to the topic. That's the reason why everytime right before I submit a new topic I make sure that it's a topic that won't lead to any arguing, harassing, flaming, etc. Also, I check to make sure I have no spelling or grammar errors in my thread. I know how annoying it can be to submit a thread with typos all over and not be able to change it.

No, usually the users here actually respond in a mostly expected and not at all unpleasant way (Most of you) when I make a topic, so I tend to not worry about it.

I dont see anything wrong with a topic that creates some debate, some tension. I dont want to make a pointless thread, like where there is nothing to respond to.
It is hard making a topic that will work and get replies. Ive seen lately that dumb non-substance threads have been getting a lot of replies. I cant really complain because Ive contributed to those, but Ive seen some good threads go down with no replies.

Not really. I know that there are plenty of people here that have different views and the entire Internet and world is like that, so there will always be people who will hate or love whatever I'm saying. I'm just trying to reach out amongst whatever demographic I am most popular with.

New threads are like the lottery; You usually lose, but sometimes you win big. And sometimes when you win big everyone you know comes in a fucks with everything, derails the train and your "what are you eating for dinner tonight?" thread turns into a spidermeme/religious flame war/gay bashing/drug using/literary review/MLP/etcetera thread and lives on another hundred pages.
Hopefully, when I make a thread it's to stimulate discussion about something that's more than yes or no, and if it is yes or no then something with Y- and Z-axes.

Every time I think about making a new thread I worry that everyone's going to ignore it in favor of a cock joke or a bait thread so I decide against it.
Meh, I don't really care too much. If I get people ignoring my thread, then it's safe to assume I just made a stupid thread; No need to linger on it.
