The title is temporary - not sure what I want to call it yet.

Sound pretty good so far, throw me a message if you want some vocal-work to go with it!
Currently got this one in the making, I'm torturing my rig to run it all.

that looks like alot of vsts mate :P - if you're looking to save CPU then bouncing out audio clips and using them instead of MIDI works a treat

I need to be in a environment where I can change something in almost an instant when in the sequencing stage, bouncing won't let me do that, I do that later on when I export every Mixer channel and rearrange & master it all in Adobe Audition. My current rig has got enough power to run pretty much anything it wishes in moderate quantities but when you start applying heavyweight plug-ins left, right and centre, that is when I have more thoughts about getting my new system budget in shape (which I'm looking at around £1500ish).

For the one I'm working on, I'm currently running all of this and my usage inside of FL is sitting at round 90-97% at the busiest parts over around 20 mixer channels:
x8 Instances of Adam Szabo's JP6K V1.5
x3 Instances of Kontakt 5 (x2 of VIROLOGY and x1 of Sonokinetic Delphi)
x2 Instances of Tone2 Gladiator (Self-Made Patches, set to Ultra quality)
x1 Instance of Omnisphere
x18 Instances of Waves Silver Bundle Plug-ins (Mostly DeEsser, TrueVerb and SuperTap)
x5 Instances of Waves One-Knob Series (I'm lazy, pls dnt kil me)
x3 Instances of NI Driver
x3 Instances of BlueCat Chorus
x3 Instances of Maximus
x2 Instances of IL Vocodex

Glad you like it. I'm not too sure what I want to do with it in terms of vocals yet; I've pulled up the speech synthesizer and ran some vocals through the Colossus setting just to see how it sounds in the song - not quite sure if I like it, and I have to turn the volume up on it a lot since everything else greatly overpwers it. I mostly want to focus on just the instrumental as of right now, but if I can get some time between all the ridiculous amount of work my engineering class (about 90% of my homework comes from that course alone), I'll try to get started on writing some lyrics.

Also, I have quite a few instances of distortion effects on my mixer tracks (slightly distorted just to enhance the sound). How much do you utilize distortion in your songs?

Working on multiple things, but nothing that's going to be out soon anyhow. i've too much schoolwork to be writing at the pace I used to during the summer.

here's a screenie from one of them.

I mainly utilise some lightweight distortion to my synth patches through whatever is programmed in with the softsynth itself. I may use some on my Kicks to give it a more 'Hardstyle' sound to it sometimes and I of course absolutely fry my vocal-work with it (I tend to record and distort Vocals last when I export the project into Adobe Audition, it's alot easier and cleaner to manage then).

I'm working on a seven-song album ("Dinosaur Skeletal Cloud" by Grasshoppers' Green Bavarian Band). So far, 4/5 of the songs have their piano track (The 5th one I'm going to hopefully work on tomorrow). I also have a Guitarist currently laying out some tracks for these songs. I still need a Keyboard player, a Bassist, a Drummer, and a Cellist.

Just make your own! :D

Currently working the first track I've ever done lyrics on, hopefully recording isn't far off. After 8 years of production without lyrics it's time to give the right hemisphere a bit of a work out.

Writing like hell to try to get an epic game score done. I have like 5 tracks left and one and a half days... and I refuse to drop the quality. :D

Also putting together a timpani virtual instrument and taking midterms. Funfun!

and @TheBehemoth, you ain't seen nothin' yet, bro! One of the tracks in the score uses double strings, triple brass, and double winds. D:

I never got why people are so nervous about sharing project files.

Here, have the link to my NGADM round 5 piece.

Just browsing here...

Anyways, if someone stole your work, it'd be much more difficult to prove it's actually yours if they also have the same SOURCE file.

My project files for Logic, DP, FL Studio or whatever are totally off-limits because that's what will hold up in a copyright infringement case.

If someone takes your uploaded MP3 file from the internet, yeah there was a way for them to get the file from you, but if and when it gets to that point you need to prove you are the original artist, your source files will be your best piece of evidence.

Not saying there are any other ways to prove you're the original artist, but if you give away your original source it makes it very difficult in terms of legal aspects.

Yeah after a couple of hours of work things can look pretty intense. I'm still extremely partial to pattern blocks in FL... Otherwise It'd be like an entire screen of something like what LichLord had :D

Oh lawd, exporting 20 Mixer extracts from FL to Audition CS6 for Mastering sure is alot of fun, my ears are already begging for mercy. Still, my track sounds pretty awesome so far with some fairly convincing Analogue sounds.

This.

Don't really know where to go from here though, can't decide between Drumstep and DnB. Think I'm going to fumble around a little more with Massive and whatnot until I get a bass sound I like.

Any advice?
