I don't know why people bash it all the time, it really isn't that bad. Look at this stuff! Recently I had some real good Salmon on a cross country flight.
It's not five star food, but some airlines have some real good cuisine

More people get ill from airline food. It's full of disgusting bacteria and disease.

I don't ride in airplanes.
Man was not meant to fly. It's the devil's work.

It's not the food itself that's the problem, it's the people working the planes.
Janitors that mop the lavs and, with the same mop, mop the serving/prep surfaces. That's a thing that does actually happen.

What's the point of airline food anyway? Can't you just wait until the flight is over to eat?

Alternatively, bring your own food.

have you people never been on an international flight?
they don't always let you take food/drink onto planes, depending on where you're flying from and what their policies are.
if you want to go 11 hours (+ all the standing around bullshit you have to do at immigration) without eating that's your prerogative.

I fly at least a couple of times every year, not so much internationally any more... but yeah, I have. :) Beverages are banned pretty much everywhere, but that's usually free on the plane (at least tea or coffee), or you can bring an empty bottle to fill. As for food I've never flown with an airline that didn't allow you to bring your own!

I don't fly anymore, but I use to bring my own food. You can actually bring homemade food with you through security if you pick your ingredients wisely. Saves money too.
Glad you enjoyed your meal.
