Time to nerd it up. Remember how the ring wraiths kind of sensed the ring when the hobbits were leaving the shire? With an army of eagles flying in a straight line to mount doom with it it would have been a lit road flare.

The lord of rings actually does show both kinds of hereos. Froto is a a frail and unlikely hero and Aragorn is a badass ranger who's born to be king. They're on the same side.

what about the rest of the cast? when there's so many of them do they play a big enough roles to be heroes or are they just supporting characters? in the movies is heroism proportional to screen time lol
