My humble setup. I rarely use my iPad as a keyboard. Can't wait until I get my first midi keyboard though.

I've already posted my setup back in January, but I feel like showing how much my "studio" has changed.

(I can't really call it a studio because everything that I use is virtual and from observing the other pics, all of them have some sort of external electronic piano, which I don't have.)

I now have a dual monitor setup, and I disabled the Beats Audio software/limit on my sound card.

I also recently acquired Trilian, a really cool VST that I found whilst lurking internet, and I gotta say, it's damn good.

That's pretty much it.

Here's my studio. I mainly use software to produce my tunes, but do lots of guitar-based covers with friends who can sing for fun (I also do voice stuff with the mics). There's a monstrous tower of sony hi-fi speakers behind my desk, but don't worry, that's only really for cranking up Knife Party when I'm bored.

I have 4 guitars not pictured, and a trombone that I use occasionally.

Imgur link to it!

This is mine. Nothing too fancy, but it's pretty much everything I need to do what I do. It's waaaaaaay less crowded than my last setup back home, so yeee.

oops, wrong photo, but you should get the vibe of the place non the less. Kinda feels like you've stepped into the 70's when you walk in. I love the place.

The padding on the walls coupled with the orange paint reminds me of Newgrounds colours.

Also didn't you used to have another monitor on top of that one?

Yeah I used to have two 19" monitors, they both died at the same time just after warranty so now I have this one 27" instead.

I've also have a gear storage room for stuff I'm not currently using; mics, keyboards, dj gear, lighting, cables, stands, cases, etc.

This is just my minimal set up, it helps me concentrate to not have tons of gear and clutter out.

Don't know how you managed to transition back to single monitors after having dual monitors! I know 27" is enormous but still, ever since I got my new PC with dual monitors, I really can't imagine going back to a single monitor again haha.

Yeah its annoying, but functionally I can get the job done so other things come first on the priority buy list. Plus I cant fit another 27" above that one in this space, the cloud gets in the way. Thinking of doing a screen way over by the keyboard with an alternative mouse so I can have like an easier MIDI integration set up

I also went back to a single monitor etup earlier this year. I found myself using less and less of the second monitor as I did less and less orchestral.

Not much in the way of gear, just a Alesis Q25 for when I want to play something more complex that I can't easily do in the piano roll.

My computer is pretty beefy though for playing games, but I plan on getting a sound card, and rearranging my room to allow a better workspace.

I'm also there.

We are the most important part of our studios.

Although I wish I wasn't in the picture now.

I am just getting my setup put together but I got it working!
Spirit M12 mixer
MBox Digital interface
Audio Technica 2035 Mic

And my custom made echo reducing cube.
Was able to make this for under 50 bucks, and the closest thing you can buy online is almost $350 (The porta-booth) and it doesn't look very sturdy.

I would suggest using pyramid foam to anyone decides to build their own!
(I just had a ton of egg crate laying around)
The materials I used:
4x8 Fine Grain particle board $17 (More than enough to make 2 boxes)
About 8 L brackets $4
2 basic hinges $3
6" Lag bolt to use as my mic mount $0.75
And the dimensions of each square I cut out (using a circular saw I already owned) was roughly 16"x16"x16"
And for ascetics, I used varnish on it and it was about $5

Awesome stuff! the price difference between that and what you would buy for something similar is mad!
