It takes me longer to load the video than it does an swf.
Just use the normal load feature please.

Which on every single video site I've ever been on...is to use buffering? Just pause the video if you want the whole thing to load before you play it like the SWFs do.

Buffering is just the video playing back while it's loading, typically only starting playback once enough has been loaded to allow the video to play in its entirety (assuming the user has a stable and consistent Internet connection). Logically that is the optimal method of playback (which is why damn near any multimedia website, such as YouTube or IGN, utilises buffering for their videos).

Why do you think that buffering is slowing down the loading of the video?
What exactly is a "normal load feature"?

Just curious - are you a Verizon FIOS customer?

This is the game JohnnyUtah and I have been working on.

He probably means a preloader at the start of a .swf file.

Could always download every video you want to view before playing I guess.

I was thinking the same. Pre-loaders are a nice feature to have, and they make things a bit nicer

A buffer is the same thing as a preloader, though. It just dynamically starts playback when the video has been sufficiently preloaded so as to allow seamless playback before loading has completed.

I guess the fact that I can see it makes me feel better.

Also, my sentence was a bit redundant lol

Why not just get back to ye olde sfw movies and games standard? If author doesn't let you skip a scene then he's a douche. God, internet was full of real men in 2005, not like what we have now.

I can't watch most video without the thing stop buffering. I can't even watch the whole video. I'm trying to watch a 3 minutes video but it takes me around an hour just to get to get to the almost end of the video. I just want to watch until the end to make sure nothing is at the end and I would not mind to watch the whole credits (If there are any). I NEVER had problems with YouTube, I can even watch 720P without the videos stop buffering. It takes like forever just to load and I only get to watch like a few second and it stops to buffer. It says "Loading" with a circle but it never loads. I've waited for at least an hour for it to buffer but it does not even move a millimeter

Now the flash that has no loading makes me angry. The creator is so stupid to not put a loader. I had to rewatch the whole FUCKING thing over and over. I think I'll just stop watching videos on Newgrounds and just watch on YouTube where it's way FUCKING better since it has no FUCKING problems like these

Instead of throwing a hissy fit...

-Do you have AdBlock installed?
- - Is it enabled for Newgrounds?
- Have you tried watching the videos at 360p
- - Do you pause it at the start (usually loads almost the full video if you do this)
- Who's your internet provider?
- What browser are you using?
