Survival of the Newgrounders [Game]

It's the summer of 2023, as a rather large meteor strikes Earth, sending dirt and dust flying into the air that creates a cloud surrounding us. This hot heat quickly turns into freezing temperatures and widespread panic as the deathtoll rises. Countries struggle to keep civilians calm while others rage war among themselves. Governments collapse the next spring. The people of Newgrounds, however, have a plan. It may not be the... best plan, but trying to survive is better than sitting around hoping. Right?

Welcome to Survival of the Newgrounders! This is a game about a freezing apocalypse and survival of the best. Using the handy and fun gadget Innawoods, you will create yourself along with items that you have in your home or have easy access to. Since you are meeting at the newgrounds offices, it's obvious you have to have some backdrop as how you managed to get there. And since with your backdrop, you may have items you managed to get along the way. However, don't go overkill. Some variety would be nice, with everyone not being a bunch of military armor-clad juggernauts.

I will pick the best 6 to be a part in the story. If you have variety to your backdrop, you may have a better chance of being chosen than others!! Chapters will come (hopefully) daily.

(Note: I will write the story, though the outcome on what happens will come what I read in the form. If you're good with guns, you may have a better chance of survival than others, etc. I can't tell if you will tell the truth with your description of yourself, but hopefully you will cooperate and be fair.)

I've crossed the borders of Norway, with a mission to deliver plastic explosives in Helsinki. The snowstorm was very strong, and it was getting colder as I was getting more closer to my destination. After two hours of wandering through the icy landscapes, I fell on the ground, exhausted. When I was fearing that I'll die of hypothermia, I saw a black silhouette of a man in front of me and then everything turned to black. When I woke up, I was at the other side of the threshold of the NG offices.

- The ammo I brought is reloaded, half of my shells are slug-loaded. This leads me to take longer to reload or risk using mixed clips. Due to it being reloaded (albeit carefully), there is also a slight chance of hangfires.

Not sure if I'm feeling overpowered yet, trying to keep it balanced

:History Unknown: Came out of the woods two weeks ago and quickly cleared out a local Tavern, setting up a base of operations, and radio link on the roof. Having heard a rally message for NG HQ. Despite his better instincts, he set off for reasons one could only describe as a memories of the past, back before the world turned to madness.

I traded a pack of smokes for a plane ride north. After the "pilot" booked it after the tradeoff, I ended up flying the plane myself. Relax, I clocked a good 7 hours in Flight Simulator. The plane ran out of juice over Kentucky where I parachuted down near some groundskeeping lot and took a snowplow a good ways until I hopped in the back of a military convoy, which led me right towards Pennsylvania.

Was walking until I found a motorcycle (still some gas!). Found little stuff to stay alive, but made it...
Was alone almost the entire time until I found a Ham radio and started chatting with other survivors, that helped me not going batshit crazy.

Took some liberty considering the duster, the one I own has a large breast pocket which would easily hold the knife, and an inside pocket the pistol would fit in. TBH, I probably could have fit more in considering the fact that it also has 4 hip pockets.

The rules were to make a character within the web app to use in the game. If there were a gigantic dickhole slot, you could have went right ahead :)
