To work with that craft would be the ultimate goal. Til then, I'm just wishing and praying through Zooniverse :(

Ah, a grand Guanabana farm! A supreme Soursop center! That'd be something. :D

I remember when I was a kid and I always wanted to be a world famous author. I was just such a fan of reading. It was also in part inspired by the "Peanuts" comic strip, where Snoopy always thought that he'd be a world famous X. I did of lost interest after awhile.

For 21 years up to the day I was born, my dad served in the Army Reserve. He loved the life, but he loved his family more - so made like Guile and went home to be a family man. Now, he owns a company that deals with everything you can possibly think of that involves laundry machines - fixes them, sells them, whatever. He is to washing machines what Bubba from Forrest Gump was to shrimp.
My mom doesn't specialize in any specific thing. She worked in an office when I was a baby, then switched to being a full-time stay-at-home mom. She eventually found work babysitting, which was awesome for me because everyday, three other kids would come over and we'd all play. (It was less awesome when I grew up, and there were still dumb little kids around the house.) After she got fed up with one of her clients who was highly inconsiderate, she quit babysitting and helped my dad with his laundromat - which he later sold, causing my mom to get into yet another office job at a law firm, which she holds to this day.
As for me: I can't remember a day of my life when I didn't want to design video games. That's my dream job, and I've dedicated my life to getting it. For now, though, I work a humble job in a lab - I say "humble" because I'm not doing cool research work, I just clean up the samples they don't need anymore for minimum wage. :3 I don't care, it's easy work and I have friends there.

Mamas a nurse. Has been for 30 so years. She dropped out of school when she was 16 and never looked back. Least she's gets herself a nice pension in about 10 years thanks to the NHS.
Dads always been a funny character. He was working in a bank when he finished school and likely could have gone far there (as his younger brother did, who is now a wealthy man who quit a few years back and now does a small gardening job just to keep himself busy). My father though had no interest in the banking game and so went into the only profession he loved - bookmaking.
Did quite well for himself at a major betting firm in this country. Became a manager across Kent then a distract manager across the South East. Then he got married, had some kids, wanted to be closer to home. So he got his own betting shop in town and remained there for many years. Sadly, it didn't work out as well as it could have and he gave the game up about 15 years ago and became a cabbie.
Which is how I got into my job. Aged 15 I got a part time job at the firm he was working for and I've struggled to get out of that security blanket since.
And dad is still going the taxi stuff. A lot less than he used to. But its a shame really as my dad had/has so much potential. He's a smart man, had a good education. Comes from a line of productive men. His father was a top engineering guy for Shell who got to retire in his 40s. His uncle a very successful orthodontist. Like I mentioned his brother also did well for himself. My dad just gave into his vices, followed his heart and many years later it led him astray.
