So recently people have gotten overly pissy about the Washington Redskins name being offensive to Native Americans. How come Canadians can use a slur and be okay with it but someone has to call the PC police when we do it?

The NCAI represents EVERY tribe and is 100% against the use of Redskins. I'd say that counts far more than some poll done with a limited number of Native Americans of varying educational levels considering the NCAI is the authority on cultural matters.
