Improve the sound I recorded

I recorded a bunch of sounds with my cell phone, and as you all could've guessed, they're not so great. Now I know it's pretty unlikely, but is there any way to make it clearer? I managed to remove the background noise, but the parts I want to use still aren't so clear.

you could try apply a lot of filters effects eq noise remover etc but the sound will be still shit

ah when recording from crappy things stay away from everything: even if you don't hear it, there's some background noise.

You could do noise filtering, EQ (like the dude above mentioned) and probably add some reverb (not a good idea if you're sampling for music).

Start with Audacity. Or Adobe Audition if you can afford it.

It sounds like a whip. However gun shooting sounds can be found really easily, so im not sure why your trying to isolate this specific sound.
