When I used YouTube on Google Chrome it takes ages to load up a YouTube video or Newgrounds flash, decided to whip out Internet Explorer again, and I was impressed.
No more google chrome for me.

Why did you only give us two choices here?
What about furfox? or the other ones?
If I had to pick between one of those id pick Chrome probably but they are both crappy.
I use furfox right now

Chorme/Firefox are tier-1 browsers.
I mainly use chorme.
Personally, I have always and will always use Internet Explorer.
Damn OCD.

I mainly use Firefox, although I'll use Chrome if something won't work otherwise.
I feel like I should use Tor more, but damn it I just keep forgetting to.

IE sucks, most people know that. Chrome is definitely better. But Firefox recently beat out Chrome as the fastest web browser, and it's much more customizable and a lot better for privacy.
Imo Chrome only has two things over Firefox, and that is:
1. It looks better by default.
2. Searching any website via the address bar.
This is what Firefox looks like for me. So 1. isn't a problem.
Firefox is my personal favorite.

I use both, I can't tell a difference. They're both really really fast.

And?

They literally look basically the same by default with very few differences
2. Searching any website via the address bar.
Chrome does that too
I seriously don't see why people argue about how shitty FF/ Chrome is, they're almost the exact same, except fire fox is more customizable, so I guess lame hipsters would find it cool
I've always prefered internet explorer. It's never let me down while chrome has. Every time I use chrome there tends to be bugs.

What do you mean? You don't think it being customizable matters? There's so many more extensions than I can get on Firefox that do so much more. On Chrome, for example, I couldn't even get an extension to download YouTube videos because it goes against Googles policies. I couldn't customize the appearance of Chrome at all other than basic re-skins. I can literally make Firefox look exactly like Chrome. You can't make Chrome look like Firefox, because it's not customizable at all.
I preferred Chrome for ages because for quite a while and Chrome has been the more visually appealing vanilla browser for a few years now. Being able to customize Firefox is the main reason to use it over chrome, imo. The extensions for Firefox are almost objectively better.
and a lot better for privacy. You got something to hide? Don't want the government knowing about your kiddy porn?
I don't know about you, but I'd personally be uncomfortable with a large group of people surrounding me and watching everything I do. It's not any different just because they're watching me through a computer screen rather than directly surrounding me. I don't wanna be watched.

Not really. Not at all.

I was talking about chrome here. Firefox doesn't do this.

I like both. I don't know why you'd be against it being more customizable. I just wanna be able to change stuff up if I don't like how it looks.
Exactly why did you only provide us with a pair of alternatives right here? How about furfox? or another ones? Easily was required to choose involving one particular identification decide on Firefox almost certainly however they are equally inadequate. I prefer firefox right now
So the browser wars are between Internet Explorer and Chrome now? Not Firefox an Chrome?

You could only put 35 letters in the title, had to compromise.

Chrome always loads YouTube videos and Newgrounds Flashes for me. I used FireFox for the longest time because of all the cool GreaseMonkey scripts but then majority of the scripts I had were no longer working so I switched to Chrome. I like the simple layout and the bookmarks bar is pretty handy.

Firefox or Chrome put both on your SSD and you will see a nice increase on speed.
I use Chrome. But when I had to use IE it was actually running faster despite it's negative criticism. Although by the looks of this thread I might switch back to Firefox. Hmmmm

No more google chrome for me.
Since IE 10 was released I found myself using it more and more. I recently reformatted again, this time Chrome was not installed.
In my experience, IE 10 loaded videos and other embedded content quite a bit faster than Chrome, but for the text, Chrome is much faster. I think Chrome focuses on loading text first and then embedded content, while IE 10 loads it as a composite block.
It's kind of weird, seeing IE be faster than... Anything, really.
Ever since Firefox 4, I tell Firefox to go die in a hole. It's confusing as shit to navigate and the rapid release thing is really stupid, adding 'features' I don't want and taking the ones I like away. And, to add insult to injury, a major version had a memory leak the size of Alaska, forcing you to restart literally every half hour if not sooner in the case of machines with a lesser amount of RAM. IE 5.5 SP2 for Windows 95 had (what I'm convinced is) a deliberate memory leak, designed to make people upgrade to a newer operating system, and by proxy, give more money to Microsoft.
On the subject of Google, what's this issue with them lately? I'm by far too lazy to look it up, and I really want to know. The other day I saw an ad that read "Don't get scroogled by Google!" On Yahoo, so yeah, I'm kinda wondering what that's about.

Firefox has been the fastest since it was on 19, and its on 24 now. It also has far lower memory and processor usage and a much larger amount of add ons, and having lots of add ons and tabs open effects it less than other browsers.
You can also make it look exactly like any other browser using one or two themes or add ons, or like how it looked during 3.6. Out of the well known browsers, theres no reason to use any of them over firefox as theres an add on for every feature the other browsers have and it wont bloat the browser much. The only things firefox is worse at are javascript and flash but theyre both shit anyway, and HTML5 implementation isnt very important at the moment. also le open source face for people who are retarded like that
Chrome is way too simplistic, and not as private. So I prefer Firefox. I have both installed though and don't mind using both.
I don't get the big fucking deal about Chrome since it's just like every other webkit browser on the user's end except for some minor differences but eh if you think it's the greatest thing ever okay.

Mozilla Firefox is the best internet browser in the history, I don't care about others who claim that Google Chrome is faster. Well, it actually is faster, but averagely for just 0,1%, and it crashes too often.

Are you serious? Are you using the latest BETA for IE on Windows 8.1 or something?
If this is true then thank god Microsoft started getting their shit together again. I thought IE would never be superior at something.
Most of the time I use Internet Explorer. I only ever use Chrome when I'm accessing websites, programs, etc., that is otherwise inaccessible on Explorer.
Just chillin' like always.

Because chrome doesn't really look like anything
It's so minimalist that you never even notice it until you need to change some settings or something
The only extension I need and want is adblock, so all that other stuff is literally completely useless to me, and it irks me when people shit on chrome just because you can't get useless extensions
Like I said, they're pretty much the exact same with the exception of the fact that firefox has more extensions
