Sigh.......
I hope that these types of sites are not your only source of economic information. These guys have failed econ 101. Hmmm...abolish the only means that a poor country has from keeping its economy from collapsing. The effect of econnomic breakdown are far worse for our beloved poor then foriegn competion. Hoe dare the IMF demand that the countries bailed out change there economic policies that landed them in the poorhouse in the first place. These fools even went so far as condemn the builing of roads, bridges, and dams, the very foundation of strong infrastructure that can support a strong economy.
I am becoming convinced that is in fact a hidden evil corporate hand involved in all this. This hand is the making sites like these. There is no way that a person could be both intellegent and well-meaning and print stuff like this.
There are in fact a few good issues aginst the IMF and WTO but between this and the idiot protesters, the opponents seem to be determined to shoot themselves in the foot.

Acually, I really haven't got any info from these sites. These were given to me, The info I get is from Wall Street Journal Washington post and C-Span. (Yes... Yes I am a dork.)

Now here's where I disagree with you, you are assuming that if there is no IMF treaty then there will be no foregin help/aid/intervention/buisness. This is totally false. I.M.F. Gives foregin corperations out of domestic borders a certain lee-way in terms of slave labour and deplorable working conditions.

I agree, many of these nations need Dams, Roads, Bridges etc... but not if in the process what is deystroyed is the local enviroment and the only renumerations earned are a hand out from the company that will own the dam.

On a related note, go see my topic about foregin aid vrs. Policy, where I describe my ideals about how foregin aid should be abolished however foregin policy should be compeletly reinvented.
