Speaking of not being taken seriously, a Sophomore I know was raped by his aunt.
He told his mother, she said he probably was just being dramatic and completely shrugged him off, and most of his family just poked fun of him behind his back for the whole thing.
It took, like, 5 years for her to admit what happened, and nothing was really done about it.
Fun!
Women rape men all the time, but no one cares. Well, I guess it's not really "men" that they rape, it's children or minors. People say it isn't because males always want sex from females. We pay tons of more attention to male pedophiles because we're all secretly homophobes.

There should be female police officers who control rape, by letting themselves get raped. Then the rapists will have nothing to do if they just have women who will succumb for no reason. We can then give them jobs and have them function properly in society and keep the big wheel moving.

One in SIX men are sexually assaulted at some point in their lives, not too different from one in four women being assaulted. Awareness needs to spread.

If I remember correctly, 80% of rape victims knew their attacker. The incidence of someone being grabbed and assaulted on the street are incredibly rare. That being the case, it would be pretty easy for someone to be caught off-guard and made to perform a sex act, either from being drugged, assaulted, threatened with a weapon, or restrained. It's also quite a frequent occurrence when one person holds a position of authority over another (military, workplace, police).

The only greater injustice to the notion intercourse doesn't happen without penetration is the mindset that female rapists are somehow blameless the majority of the time. Overwhelming bigotry on gender stereotypes is one of the main reasons more F on M rape is rarely reported; authorities don't want to believe a man was overpowered by some female, and might turn blame or ridicule on the guy pressing charges.
If you seriously believe sex doesn't happen without shoving something into someone, step away from your porn, go read academic sex studies: get with the damn times and educate yourself. By this same thinking, lesbians don't exist. You wouldn't want that now?
Just passing through.
The situation where a woman rapes a man sounds strange to everyone because it happens rarely.

This would only be true if all guys were average-looking and every woman was very beautiful. There aren't many women that can literally choose whoever they want to sleep with or anything close to that.
Men can be raped by women, I mean no shit, and it's a shame that it's not taken seriously, but I doubt it happens that often. It's obviously going to be harder for a woman to overpower a man, and women are generally submissive to begin with.

Finally someone spoke out.
Well we're on the topic, when a Man is ACCUSED of raping a woman and is found innocent either via Jury, the real man coming forward, or DNA evidence, why is HIS name released in the press and thus earning him the title of "That rapist guy".
No company or business beyond manual labour, fast-food, or Wal-Mart would hire this person because nobody want's to have someone that was accused of rape in their business regardless of innocence.
As always rape is a bad, however I think that until guilt is proven the identity of the victim and accused attacker should be kept under wraps
It's kinda sad how there are feminist groups fighting to keep the definition of rape virtually gender exclusive to gloss over the fact that forced envelopment happens in almost the exact same numbers as forced penetration, and then use that very definition to show that rape never happens to men, and is a gendered crime and something something patriarchy. Nobody takes male rape victims seriously. Not even male rape victims. I've had friends literally be passed out and a girl that they wouldn't even get with equipped with beer goggles start doing shit with them. Genders reversed? Boot party for the guy forcing himself onto a female. With them? Jokes about how even passed out they can get some.

People have been C&P'ing "rape is rape" like 20 times throughout this thread. I stringently disagree, I think context is an important factor when finding consent and every case is different in which it sometimes isn't as simple as X says they said "no" at some point thus Y is a rapist, end of story. That's bullshit and context matters in those cases as rare as they are.
But seriously, a full grown man being raped by a woman? Why even press charges? I mean if you're a full grown man than even if this woman was grotesque and fat, it really wouldn't be worth the charges and your time and money. I mean she would really have to have put the hurt on me after drugging me for me to even consider it. But its really all about the individual case which could range from "I hope that bitch rots in a fiery hell" (we're talking a child/minor rape) to "Seriously bro? You don't got much to bitch about..." (F on M, fairly attractive F, mild antics)

I think everyone can agree that if a woman straps something on and goes in your ass (without your consent), that's rape. Where the controversy comes in is whether a man can be "the man" and still get raped.
It could be done with drugs, the right cocktail (pun intended) could incapacitate and keep you hard. However it doesn't even need to be done that way - if a man is being forced at gunpoint to have sex, he's probably not going to be in the mood, but he'd either get himself in the mood and perform, or get shot. Probably a lot of times in that situation the guy just gets shot.
If you do think all it takes to get in the mood is the chance for sex, then you might want to give porn a try. Without enhancing drugs most men can't perform on cue - even with someone attractive, if you add a camera, an audience, payment, and the threat on non-payment if they can't do the "money shot". Now obviously that's not rape because the guy can still walk away, but if you can imagine in a situation where pressure is put on him and he can't walk away, that would be rape.
The standards for what constitutes a rape for a man against a woman is exactly the same - it doesn't need to involve physical violence, and an orgasm doesn't invalidate it.

Obviously I'm talking extremes. I mean just barely something that can be considered rape, imagine if you would: a fairly attractive woman (yes, even to the "victim") at some kind of crazy party, everyone's doing drugs, she's usually fairly sexually aggressive especially when tripping, she picks some guy out of a room, practically pulls his blazed, barely conscious ass off the couch, into a room and she does the nasty to him, I mean she does everything because this guy can't even stand at this point. Afterwards, the guy barely knows what happens, all he knows is that he's naked and alone in a room, feeling slightly bruised but pretty much OK, hell, fine even. Now mind you that he never consented at any point. So yes, according to the law, he was raped.
Now obviously, does this situation equate to other rape cases where they're beaten half to death and done in every which way possible left in agony inside and out? Would you sympathize with this guy if went crying about his rape story? Shit, some people would've wanted to be him.

TL;DR it's not rape if you weren't beaten and sober at the time.
you do realize that you're falling right back on the same arguments that men who severely "whipped" or extremist feminists fall back on, right?

I really don't see why we don't do this. Rape culture be damned, there is a very large percentage of people that would gladly have a boot party with someone they thought was a rapist.

Wait, stratch that. We do in fact pay attention to female pedophiles, but they have to be ugly, as mentioned in the "South Park" episode. Seriously, I looked up registered sex offenders and all of the female ones were ugly. Yeah, I know there's good looking ones there.
