Sims Question

I've just gotten The Sims: Hot Date over the weekend and have been playing it quite alot. What's the easiest way to have people date in the game? I only get so far before they start not liking what I have them do, rather its hugging, kissing or something else. Can anyone tell me how to get them to go out?

Every sim is different,and every sim likes different stuff
playful sims like dansing,joking around,drinking...
serious sims like talking and that kind of a stuff

mine do. thats how they got all there family friends and how i got some married aswell.

My sims never dated so I took all the doors out of the house and set it on fire...I really prefer more violent games
