I just got the collection and popped in disc 2 so I could play the first game which is the only one besides 4 that I haven't played. But only 2, 3, and Peace Walker are on it.
I looked up on wiki that apparently there is a code for it.
Was I supposed to buy it new so I could play it?

MGS1 is only included in japanese PS3 copies instead of Peace Walker, since Peace Walker HD got a stand alone release over there. MGS1 isnt that expensive though, and it's worth playing.

New copies include a voucher for MGS1 and VR Missions. And MG1 and MG2 are on the third game as extras.
