They're doing a clinical trial to determine the effectiveness of nicotine to cure marijuana withdrawal. No, you didn't read that wrong. This is a thing that is happening. I don't think curing a mild physical withdrawal with a much more addictive and harmful substance is a very good idea, but fuck it, why not?

Yep, nicotine is totally not addictive at all. Nope, no way you'll ever crave nicotine after ingesting it everyday. That's just absurd.

Technically, nicotine is not significantly addictive, as nicotine administered alone does not produce significant reinforcing properties.[55] However, after coadministration with an MAOI, such as those found in tobacco, nicotine produces significant behavioral sensitization, a measure of addiction potential. This is similar in effect to amphetamine.[35]

Are you implying weed isn't more psychologically adictive than nicotine? because i'm saying it is
I know nicotine is adictive, just not more addictive than weed

This study relates purely to physical withdrawal. I'm not denying that weed can be psychologically addictive, but in this context that is irrelevant.

What's irrelevant is that study! Nicotine itself isn't addictive, but when it hits the brain, it triggers an on-demand dopamine reaction, which itself is highly addictive. There's so damn little withdrawal with THC, why even bother?! Snoop Dog and Willy Nelson need more medication (potentially quite addictive) just to get over another drug?
This is like methadone, which is basically heroin with a prescription... Painbringer's right, this country is fucked with pushers running the show, and all to keep us out of the (political) loop, and to keep us as busy little slaves.
And fuck, I have to consolidate my stinky butts to make a smoke :| I was really hoping I read the study chems ass-backwards....
Now building Vault 101, reverse engineered from yesterdays technology.. or I could ignore it, and let you figure it out |:

Well if people used malaria to cure syphyllis it wouldn't surprise me that this would occur, but i don't think anyone has suffered from THC withdrawl.

Using nicotine to cure weed addiction? Are they nuts? that is just trading one addiction for a worse one. Last I checked weed doesn't kill while nicotine (which is in tobacco products) does.

WTF?! I once read somewhere that weed even helps get the nicotine out of your body, so the other way around it would make way more sense. Furthermore, weed doesn't cause any physical damage. Someone wants us all killed...

Yes he wrote it right, moron. Weed doesn't cause brain damage. The other voodoo sources said 'yes' but all of them confirmed they have no evidence. You want a better source? Me. I smoked weed during my wee days and planning to come back. I don't have any feel of different. Do I look dumber? I always like this.
So you should shut up.

Amazing that in like five years, US people have gone from thinking weed is toxic to admitting it is safer than tobacco. Well done yankees, the rest of the world will hopefully catch up shortly.

So marijuana is slightly addictive? Physically?

Implying the government never force people to go to drug rehab or they go to jail. Yeah, the won't 'force' you at all.

At least while on rehab they don't force you (I hope) to take something that were a lot more harmful to your body than the substance you were taking. This is a lot different, and rehab sounds a lot better than going to jail.

That fuckin stupid. It was the other way around when I quit smoking cigs.
Weed is not chemically addictive, I don't care who says what. I've smoked for 10 months straight then went dry for 5 months, it's whatever.

Indeed. This is what most anti-weed pushers can't get over their heads. Weed is not that addiction, unlike fucking cigs. With weed or meth, you can get off easily without stupid rehab, while on cig smoking? Good luck.

Yes. It has certain effects such as trouble sleeping, little appetite, and increased anxiety. Not much, but it is there.
