I also think newgrounds tend to not put sprite material on their frontpage.

Lol'd irl. I didn't understand until I clicked on the kids profile. Yeah, spriters aren't the most celebrated animators. I mean if you made some custom sprites and had an interesting story-line you might get a front page. But it's hard to get noticed animating with other peoples material.
