TRACK RANKING: 4, 2, 3, 1.

3 sounds like the guitar solo was kind of made up as you went along... kind of boring for my taste ... pink floyd influence?

2 sounds like all your base are belong to us.

1st track is only one idea repeated for the whole track... and its not all that interesting .. other than it having a spacy saturn feeling.

Review time!

Individual Songs:

Starkey- I think it was a great idea to start with something that does sound like an intro, the main melody is very enjoyable and the song certainly lives up to the albums name, feels very eerie and spacey as it should be.
Im not sure about the kinda psychedelic stuff you tried to do at 00:26, some of it works and some feel a bit annoying, it does however work pretty good as a buildup to the main melody presented afterwards.
The main issue i see with the song/intro is that it is too long, from about 1:34 forward i don't see any point on keeping the song going and even less if its intended as an intro, and it surely sounds like one.

Elocin- Is this Coldplays paradise? xD (just kidding)
I like the intro to the song, feels pretty faithful to the first song of the EP and sets a pretty good mood to what comes next.
I thing the main melody is just too loud in my opinion and sounds a bit cheesy.
The guitar do fit well only fading in the background but i find myself wondering if the song would not benefit from them becoming more prominent.
The guitar solo riff is pretty sweet but is drowned in the middle of the mix, specially by the loud cheesy synth.
5/10 +Feels spacey -Synth too loud -Doesnt capture my attention -Overall weak mix -Weak ending

Sandusky - Yups, i like this one a lot! I really like the rhythm guitars and how chose their effects, also the percussion sits perfectly in the song, helping it without taking any of attention from it.
The solo guitar guitar also sounds pretty sweet, it has maybe a little over reverb for my taste but sounds pretty nice as it is :D It might not be real by my ears have some sort of issue with the bend that happens at 00:50, not sure it went all the way.
8/10 +Nice guitar work +Great backing sounds -Fade out was too quick

I Took Your Pop Rocks, You Took My Heart - Nicey nicey! The psychedelic effects of the guitar worked great and gave an awesome felling while hearing with the headphones, nice job with that. I love the combination of sounds that you present us in that intro and how it all comes together as the buildup for the drums to enter the equation. Once again the guitars in the background have been very well thought, both in playing and in tone and effects, love them.
The main melody on the solo guitar is memorable and not boring at all, it carries the song beautifully.
I like how you did the stop at 02:36, you kept it interesting with lots of sounds coming all over and then when the song returned the new synth you added to the mix was sweet and added a lot.
I think your mixing in this song was pretty damn good!
Also the ending fits a lot better that some of the other endings you have in the album.
From what i heard so far from you, this is your go to song!
9.5/10 +Great Intro +Feels spacey +Great Guitar work +Excellent mix +Nice main +Interesting to hear despite its 6 minutes

Your basses continue quite good like they did in "Conversation by Purple Flowers" and the guitar work and mixing has indeed improved since that time.
Im not sure what t think about the removal of vocals from your new work, i was hoping that you kept practicing and at least 1 or 2 songs would feature an improved version of yourself singing, but you did manage to make the EP interesting without vocals. I will glue these reviews to your individual songs here on NG to help spread the song :)

It was improvised. More Santana than Pink Floyd, but thanks for the compliment lol

Yeah...

It was meant to be kind of ambient and something to zone out to.

Elocin is the weakest song I'll admit. I still like it but in retrospect, maybe another song would have fit better. I was just really jazzed to put it all together and didn't want to wait to record more stuff. I just wanted to get it out! lol

Here's why the mixing has improved since Purple Flowers. Decent. Monitors. My old monitors worked ok for a lot of sounds, but these new ones really allow me to hear bass differently and tweak it into the mix much better.

My singing just isn't good enough (yet) to really put on releases like this. maybe on smaller side projects I will experiment more, but this is stuff that I want to represent me. I want to put my best face forward. You know my work so you know my capabilities and stuff. But the last thing i want is to get a totally new listener and have them turned off by bad or meh vocals.
