So my ears have absolutely nothing in them (Earrings, Gauges, etc etc)..

So the question is

What are your opinions on Piercing?

Like gauges or just black studs.. I'm a guy.. And I dont know if i want a piercing but its something I have wanted to do for a while, I do kind of want really really small gauges like 10g (People with gauges would know) or maybe just black stud earrings but I do not want to have to worry about taking them out then having to deal with the hole in my ear and it might not go away, obviously id treat them the right way and stuff but if i take them out wont they have the hole in my ear? Just want a intake on these from other people who may even have them.. Thanks!

Those are not even close to what i was looking towards.. Those are like a inch diameter im looking at the size hole of a normal
pierced ear... I might just get black studs.. I just dont want to take out the earrings and have the tiny pinhole for the rest of my life,

History of it is as long as mankind, and prehistoric tribes were tying up their babies' heads or feet in deformation purpose, tattoos are nothing but wounds filled with dirt and they were always popular too. Don't even get me started on circumsision. Then we have metal/polmyer parts semi-permamently attached to your body. What is up with that? Why masochism can't just be smashing your dick with a meat hammer, splitting it in half and then letting bees to sting it? It'd be easier to label it and it'd be clear for everyone how ridiculous is it.

Individuality, nowadays. In the old days, it probably represented tradition and a sign of your clan. A way to easily identify if someone was one of your own.

Pretty ironic, considering that most people (teenagers) get their ears (or other body parts) pierced just to fit in.
