You know it's interesting. I've witnessed the death of four different online communities, and this one has been the absolute slowest decline. It was also the largest back in the day.
I probably won't miss it when it's gone. I will wonder where all the people have run off to, though.

oh, and FYI, one of the common signs that a community is dying is that the community leaders/moderators refuse to accept that it's happening, ban people who try to talk about it publicly, try to fix the problems that were brought up a long time before.. but all too late, and the community puts a lot more emphasis on seniority. Just some stuff to look forward to when you notice this is happening to a community you're a part of.
