I don't think it'd change. People would just continue to complain. You mortals seem to have a habit for such.
I think there might be censorship/monitoring on large social networking sites like Facebook, but other than that I think other than the amount of people talking about it (obviously), it would largely remain the same.

Any country blocking Internet from its people would be the country to be destroyed.
I'm not sure if it's true, but I think I actually read recently that the UN decided that the Internet is a human right.
So any country messing around with the Internet would be getting their ass handed to them.

That's what most people think. Banning internet in a country is like banning a human right, compared to putting people in jail for no reason or stealing their properties just because the government wants it.
As for the World War III scenario, I'm not sure. An attack on Syria could result into a war of global proportions.
I honestly feel like WW3 is building up, and if it does happen, stop using the internet and stock up, it doesn't matter how rich I am, the devastation would be terrible, and by stock up I mean by weapons, clothes and food. Wouldn't have much time for the internet, reinforcing my doors and barring my windows. Blah.

The internet is a freedom that will soon be taken away from us. I don't think a war will even need to erupt for it to happen. Give it 30 years. If it hasn't happened by then, yet, that's a true miracle in itself.
It depends on who would do the fighting, obviously. If it was the Americans, we'd probably do just fine. Even the Chinese have simply such a high population that they manage to download stuff for free, like at Youku. It would probably give way to a whole planet of memes.

All the websites with information on WW3, such as Wikipedia, would be overloaded with people trying to access them. Some websites might even be temporarily censored or even shut down to prevent any propaganda from spreading on them.

I would archive everything I think is important (which my crawlers already doing) and set up my own little LAN then pretend 'people' posting on NG, which is actually bots... This is the 'forever-alone' way.

Well the internet is essentially a bunch of computers linked together, sooo if there were enough power and userbase, the internet would go on. Now, maintaining things would be ridiculous considering all the web developers who would undoubtedly die.
