Nah I just found it a bit silly that you were trying to explain to me what this site is. It's not a matter of me trying to pull rank or something stupid like that, it just stands to reason that someone who's been here for nine years might not need to have the site's shtick explained to them by someone who's been here for two months.

And for what it's worth, I didn't just express moral outrage apropos of nothing. Wriggle's sig specifically asks people to let him know if it offends them. It offends me, so I let him know.

Did I say Wriggle didn't have the right to make that sig? Did I say it violated the site's ToS? Did I demand that it be taken down, or even ask that it be taken down? No, I never said any of those things.

All I did was state my perfectly valid opinion that the sig personally offends me, in response to the words right there on the sig itself literally saying "Let me know if my signature actually offends you."

Don't like it? Make a sig about how you don't like it. Rant and rave on your userpage. You have the right to do so. You don't have the right to bitch in every thread he posts in.

This is the only thread I've mentioned his sig in so I don't know what you're talking about. If you mean more generally responding to Wriggle's posts with accusations of racism, well, it's hardly my fault that a lot of Wriggle's posts are racist.

And again, I'm not "bitching," I'm responding to the specific request Wriggle (graciously, I have to say) placed right there on the sig.

Oh, and for what it's worth, and I'm not saying this to recommend or discourage any sort of mod action whatsoever, I'm just pointing out a fact, the sig totally does violate NG's ToS.

The swastika alone would be grounds for a violation on dozens of similar sites with similar Terms, and has probably already been enforced that way on this site at least once in one form or another. That the image is in service to a racially charged remark about black people compounds the issue.

Again, I'm not even asking that it be taken down. I'm just saying that it offended me, that I certainly wouldn't mind if it were taken down, and that any mod who wanted to do so would have no trouble finding a justification for it.

And since I doubt I'll be getting out of this without a ban anyway: doesn't it make you feel kind of weird to be a 35 year old man responding to a post with "tough shit, go wash your vagina" and somehow not being at all embarrassed by that?
