Yeah... cause these were not books before being movies.

And way too much people said this before. I don't know why everybody assumes that the eagles are willing to do everybody else's dirty job all the time. They have their own lives to live and only help when they decide to. Plus, if you read Bilbo, you'd realize that they can be harmed and that they do not wish to risk their lives all the timen for humans, elves and hobbits.

Kick-Ass 2. That's the only one I can think of right now. I watched the first one and it was just awful, and sequels are usually even worse.

You can tell how crappy a movie is going to be by how awesome the thing it's coming from is. The cooler the game/book/whatever, the crappier the movie. I almost look forward to movies based on crappy games just to see if it works the other way around.
