Hello, my name is cwoodsdean and i'm kinda new to this site. My friend said it would be in my best interest if I go here. You see I need help! I am making a series! :D Yes, but I can't do it on my own... I need a team to make this work. I will be the Director/creator but I need an animator/artist. It would be great if I could get 2 animators and maybe 1 even 2 artist to do all the backgrounds and props for the series so the animators have less to worry about. A Musician would also be great but lets worry about that later. And the important thing and why you probably clicked on this post. What I'm looking for in an animator to work with me on this project is some one who can be dedicated!!! Please.. it's fine if you take like an month to make 1 episode that's cool! but it's only cool if your taking that long to do it. not -yea yeah are do it in the next couple of days.... ahhh yeah I.. ahh have been busy ... sorry .. i'll do it next week.... ah sorry I'll finish it later yeah I don't think I can do it.. If you are working on it it's fine if it takes you a wile to animate but if your gunna dozzle about and waste time or disappear on me, please do not bother joining. Ok now the moaning bit is out of the way. This will be an anime series. I love anime so much and have always wanted this to be an anime.. It doesn't have to be just like a real anime. In fact the episodes are only going to be 7 minutes long roughly. But the drawing style needs to look anime. And feel anime. Ok.. so anime! I would like at least 2 animators with the same drawing style to be the animators. This is so that if 2 people can share the work of if it was only 1. 1 person can do 1 episode why the other one does the 2nd. This makes things faster and so the animator can have a brake or less on there list of things to do. Though! They need to have the same drawing style. This shouldn't be a problem because good artists who can draw anime can normally draw different types of anime. So the 2 animators just have to do the same type. Ok so if your still reading and are interested this is how you get to be apart of this! - Send me a link in a reply post to this post of a sample of your animation work. Just so I can see how good you are what your style is like ect ect. It can be a line sketch or a full coloured in finish animation. Once I have my team of animators I will set up a group in Skype so keep that in mind. We will then talk about things in more depth! If you want to talk to me a bit more about it. I want to get animators and artists for this 1st, but once that's sorted I will be looking for people to do music and people to voice charters! so far I can say I have 8 main charters! So don't worry if you can't animate you can still be apart of this project! Again hope you can be apart of it!

I recommend being lest limited with the art style. It's quite hard to find someone with a specific style you like. Also, about the two animators thing, you could get an animator to make key frames and another to draw the inbetweens rather than each making their own episode. Other than that, you sound pretty organised, can i hear more info on the story?
Just a tip.
To get good people to work with on newgrounds there are some things you need to know.
1. Don't be to demanding if you don't have any kind of experience or portofilio to show. the animators you are looking for seems to have to be very experienced but if you yourself don't have any experience with directing a series. Ofc i don't know what kind of experience you have :).
2.Even if you seem like a organised person you might want to give a little more info about your project and what role you will play in it. If you say that you will be the director of the series you often can't expect good animators and artist to want to work with you if they can't be sure that you are a good director. There are alot of people who has ideas on here but alot of them just want some animators to do all the work while they will take credit for it in the end without ever being a proper director. I figure you aren't that kind of person but just a tip.
3.If you don't have any experience with making a series try starting with something smaller.(Again i don't know if you do have experience or not.) Making an anime is ALOT of work even if the episodes are only 7 min long. If you really want this project to be good you should try practicing being a director with smaller projects first.
I hope you don't feel like i stepped on you or anything but ik sooner or later someone would probably say the usual
"So you are only going to sit back and don't do a sh** while other people do the work then take credit for it afterwards?"
So just wanted to put it out there in a nice way before that comes.
If you manage to get some animators and artists i wish you good luck and hope they don't drop out on ya :).

I like your points and will make a new post. I agree is should have added more. I just didn't want to give away to much coz of people stilling ideas, so I try and keep quiet. However, yes I should have put stuff I've done. Also on the style of animation, as-long as they can do anime/manga and animate it that's all that I care about XD
Also, you can't say I will be sitting back doing nothing oh no. I at this moment am righting more episodes, making indavidle designs so the animators have a ruff Idea what I have in mind. There are a lot of... props... that's just say that were in this series that I will design. And the hole plot/story line. The only thing I wont be doing is animating it. Sound, text, editing, directing and writing the hole story is what I will be doing. Just to some it up. Hope that gives a better idea.

Like I said, as long as they can draw anime/manga and can animate it that's all that matters. :)
