well, indeed the life of an artist is always difficult. no matter how young you are your skill or expirience...life it's alwayse hard but is the way you live day by day that make the difference
the world is like a mirror it wil be smile to you only if you smile to him first
why you make art? if is only for money why don't do another work? like in bank or whatsoever?
i think because art is fun. and give us a lot of reward...maybe in the long term

i try to be as positive i can, have fun and...give in to try to make good art :)

There are reasons to make art, and there are reasons not to make art. There are things you don't know. There's more to life than you know about. And there's less. It's not what it looks like. Enjoy making art for as long as you can, but never try to make a profession of it. You are throwing your life away. There are people who will take everything from you and then tell you to bow down and thank them for not taking more.

Just don't seek it out as a profession. It will be an absolute nightmare. You are seriously entering into a bleak trap of hopeless desperation and turmoil, from which no one will be able to lift you, should you pursue art as a career. This is a fact. It's a nightmare.

i think that trowing away life is not follow what makes you feel good...becouse work is like over 1/3 of a day and you have to make it as better as possible or your life will become 1/3 more worse (and another 1/3 you are sleeping so it isn't a good thing)

i studied at school of art and specialized in c4d with at lot of money and sacrifice and now i work in a packaging studios where things are going bad and it's been 7 months i haven't opened even the software instead i make ripetitive work of catalagation, transport heavy weight and so on e so far...i guess you can imagine what i'm talking about...

but what do i have to do? stop breathing? throw away my knowledge and sit down waiting years passing by doing nothing?
it's a choice...but not a choice i would make, i'm searching for a new job and keep me motivated (i think motivation is one of the most important things to get) maybe with video, with friends, with newgrounds keep your mind never stuck

its very hard i know and you are right, but for me the nightmare is wake up one day looking back and see my life...see that i haven't do anything to make my life better and get fun and satisfaction...life is not endless, don't waste time thinking at the past or the future, are only illusion. you have to improve your here and now and is not for reach a point but to enjoy the ride

mmh i think it took too long that i expectect :P sorry for boring you, it is only my point of view

hope you can get whatever you are serching for and be happy with that :)
