Well why don't WE do the same, but on a smaller scale.
To attract more users to the site and spur portal submissions, I propose that the NG community (with support from The Behemoth) builds a Mammoth MK II walker.

How about we physically force a bunch of geeks to create the men in black memory eraser but have it work in a reverse effect. So now Instead of having it only erase memories we force the geeks to make one that has 3 different settings. erase, alter or completely create memories.
