Hello NG Audio! I dedicated this forum thread for the reference of music artists and performers alike. This thread

is for instrumentalists* who are interested in offering their talents for composers/producers to scout(like a

catalog or Yellow Pages for musicians :P).

I know some may be thinking; why? Why would we need such a thread? Are you mad? They have a Collabinator

so why not use that?

Well, first off, talented individuals who can play instruments are pretty hard to find across the grand old internet.

Secondly, no, I'm not crazy or stupid (okay maybe a bit). Last, the Collabinator is really for someone looking to

work on a certain project (ex.I'm a 19 yr old voice actor looking for work; Heya! I'm an electronic producer in

need of a mastering engineer.)and not really a handy or relevant reference.

Okay, here goes.

RULES for the instrumentalist

You must have a microphone (particularly a good one) in order to record- how will you play the parts for your

employer? :O

Please post under the following format.
This is format in which to post:
[EXAMPLE]
(User)Name:-(to be credited as) Animatix
Instrument(s):- (what can you play?)Guitar, Flute, Vocal
Skill Level:-(how good are you?)Intermediate
License/Cost of Service:(what are your conditions) Free for noncommercial;$2 per musical piece yadayada...

[Note: I don't have a mic to record myself, so sorry guys, you can't choose me! :P]

RULES for Composers/Producers/Scouts
Be clear in your requests when you ask the instrumentalist/vocalist.
Give credit where it is do and follow their terms you apparently agreed to.
Send examples, MIDIs, and notation for your musician. Knowledge of basic music theory/notation is a must.

Hopefully a lot of talented people will post, and hopefully useful for the composers/producers.

Note to Admins/Mods: Apologies if I did this wrong or whatnot. Feel free to modify/delete if I have. I based this

as a template off of how the Voice Actor Advertisement and Voice Actor Wanted threads were structured.

*Instrumentalist/svocalists refer to acoustic (real life) instruments and vocalist performers; VSTs or sample based

instruments do not count- sorry. :(
