Character head decision

This is the main character (Dale) of an animation I'm doing. I've drawn an alternative Dale because I war curious. I used an anime style I picked by tracing from a movie and structuring it in a way so I can use it, whether the approach is right or not.

The problem with the old one (the left one) was that most of the time his eyebrows are covered by the hair. Then I notice that with anime characters they're much better and easier to see. Much better for characteristics, but it changes Dale's look a lot.

If you had to pick one, which one would you pick? Thanks. Opinions are welcome.

the blue guy look better than the other one because the green dude look more like a normal character!

if you really looking for drawing anime style characture I really suggest you to read "Vol 1 - How to draw manga Vol.I Compiling Characters" this gives you almost all what you need to draw in anime style! just check the difference between my old style and the new one I have uploaded it in my newgrounds profiles at the news section:

The left guys circle eyes look more like glasses. The right guy look younger but that may be due to being thinner in the face. I try a hybrid model buy taking the fatter face from the left combined with the eyes & hair from the right to left guy.

Correct! I took the structure from kid Goku and Bulma in The Path to Power! Dragonball/DBZ is the inspiration. There's nothing wrong with that is there?
