is my 3DS finished

So my 3DS was dropped in some water about a year ago by my little brother. this was before i learned about any drying techniques or the rice thing, so i didn't try that at all. instead i tried drying it and turning it on. of course, it failed. wouldn't charge either.

a year later, i still have it cause it's too beautiful to just get rid of. it can finally charge, and it turns on, but the screen stays pitch black. is it finished? or is there something I can do to fix it?

If I remember correctly, you can send it to Nintendo and they will fix it for you.
If not, a new screen shouldn't cost too much. You wont be spending more than 40 bucks I think.
If all else fails, buy yourself an XL they are way better.

Yeah pretty much this from what I hear the customer support is pretty damn nice. It might cost a bit but it's better then paying for a new one that's for sure

honestly, there will be more players on the 3DS than the wii U. controls would be better on the 3ds because it'll just be like playing with the gamecube controller.

also I don't really care about graphics that much

Upon turning on the console, hold down the following buttons:
L + R + X: Touch Screen Calibration
L + R + Y: Circle Pad Calibration
L + R + A + Up(DPad): System Update

By the way are you hearing any sounds when you attempt to turn the system on?

i'm really not on the 3DS as much as I use to be. once I get animal crossing in a couple months, and when smash comes out I'll be on it at least a couple hours a day.
