I know most sequels sucked, but there are some that are so bad that it practically brought down the good things the original movie has (or the franchise).

What sequel do you wish was never made?

Sorry if you tried to repress your memory...

The sequel to Driver for the original Playstation. It was simply that godawful for a franchise to go from one of the best in that era into virtually irrelevance in just one game, never mind the fact that the Driver franchise never fully recovered from there.

The Hangover 2 and 3. Terrible money based sequels

Caddyshack II was probably the worst sequel to a movie I've ever seen.

Matrix 2 and 3. It really ruins the essence of the first one trying to be a bloated action film.

And Godfather Part III. It's a fine movie but when put against the scale of Part II it really doesn't compare. I really don't think the series really needed an epilogue and that's what Part III is really.

I know really, it's going to be terrible. I'm very disappointed in the makers of SLC PUNK for such a blatant bid to make more money.

Nearly all of the Super Monkey Ball games I've seen past the first two games have been greedy sellouts, with many of the recent ones getting onto every major gaming platform in sight, especially if it's to make use of a new control scheme (e.g. the Wii Balance Board). However, Banana Blitz was quite fun, despite bragging about FIFTY WHOLE PARTY GAMES, most which just exist for the sake of putting in that many party games, including a jigsaw puzzle.

I'm also intrigued by the recent Banana Splitz game on the PS Vita, which seems to restore some classic arcade traditions found in Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2. However, I'm absolutely unwilling to buy any new consoles.
