Besides, the finale of last season ended on a really interesting cliffhanger. Made me really wonder how they could follow up on it if they did another season. Then this season starts and they just say all that was a hallucination Scully was having. Fuck you, show. Don't have cliffhangers like that if you can't commit to them.

I haven't seen anything from the new seasons, but based off your post alone. I definitely have to give it a watch, even if I will get pissed at it. Is there anywhere I can stream the new season? Well at least the first of the two new seasons.

I just finished watching season 11 as well. Overall, I liked it a lot better than the last season despite its flaws. Episode 7 was my least favourite episode because it wasn't an X-Files episode, it was a Black Mirror episode disguised as one.
