They redesigned the RYNO in every game. In the original it fired 9 missiles at a time which home into anything on screen.

I wouldn't really consider them overpowered anyway, since there's no chance of being able to get them on your first playthrough without insane grinding.

Knights of the round table for FFVII is overpowered on almost every single boss with the exception of the two weapons ruby weapon and emerald weapon.

they're not exactly weapons, but if you use any of the Formula 1 cars in Gran Turismo 3 you will win every even, as long as you don't fuck up too hard.
