It shouldn't come as a shock that google tracks you. Google is literally an advertisement agency, so that would obviously be a major part of their job, storing all your digital footprints for a minimum of 18 months. They do have an opt-out choice, but it only works by downloading their cookie opt-out plugin.
In other words, I wouldn't expect the incognito mode in chrome to be much more private than a public park. I'm not saying FF's private browsing tool is any safer in that regard, but at least they don't have much commercial interest in tracking you.

My favourite is internet explorer. I've used it for years and never encountered any problems with it. I have encountered problems with chrome many times but internet explorer seems reliable.

firefox because it's almost as good a browser as chrome, and it doesn't have google's grubby hands all over it

Because chrome is pretty much the worst one right now excluding internet explorer, theres no real reason to use chrome at all because other browsers outperform it in every way.

Firefox doesn't get slow or crash on me when I have a lot of tabs and/or windows open ._.
Same with any other computer in my house.

Im surprised your chrome doesnt, it starts getting leaks when you open lots of tabs and it uses far more memory and cpu.

I recently made the transition from Chrome back to Firefox, and I'm actually enjoying it a lot more. Jeez, it really does make a difference.
