Batman is much smarter. He is a detective that use intuition and gadgets he made to solve mysteries even Superman cant. He is also a master of manipulation and knows the mind well. He can predict most criminal's intention before they do it. (One of the exceptions being Joker since he has no pattern)

Although I would like to say Batman is the smarter one, I have seen Superman in some comics working with extremely high tech stuff, + he can speed read and do high level math at fast speeds as well.

Batman fights with stratagy and skill and is a god tier dectective. He can analyze opponents weaknesses/strength so he knows how to handle a situation (beside joker since he's random). Batman is smarter and not even close.

Yes. He's calculating and tactical, plus he's smart enough to keep a huge corporation running that makes him a ridiculous amount of money. And he's a detective.

I don't think you can measure their intelligence on the same scale. Superman isn't human, so his limitations are essentially nonexistent until written. Batman is human so we already know roughly what his mind can/can't do.

I think you stumbled onto the deciding factor here. Lex Luthor. Lex continuing to be a legitimate threat to Superman based on his intellect shows that a human can be. I can defiantly remember Batman out thinking Luthor so, he wins.

Superman has limitless mental power. He can make trillions of calculations in a second, can think so fast that he can slow down his perception of time almost to a halt, and can set up mental barriers so strong that even master telepaths can't read his mind.

But it's ok that superman is vastly smarter, because you can't compare the two. Batman is a human, superman is an alien, and his race was full of hyper-intelligent superbeings.

Batman is incredibly impressive when compared to another human. He can bench press 1000 pounds and leg press 2000, he's got insane detective skills, he's super acrobatic, and he is really really smart (compared to the average human). But when compared to a demi-god, he's just another lowly human.
