If the minimum character limit for a BBS post is 3 characters, then why can you get banned for making just such a post?

Let's put it this way: The minimum grade you can get on the SATs in an F. Just because it is the minimum does not in any way make it acceptable. Get my point?

Because it's legal limit. I presume you could be banned for editing your posts or making a 2 character post.

The SAT is not graded with letters asshole. The minimum is zero, and thats IF you don't write down your name.

Let's put it this way: the minimum grade you need to achieve on a test in order to pass is a 65, but that doesn't mean a 65 is great or even acceptable, atleast not in your parents' eyes.
Same goes for the minimum character limit in your posts. Creating a post with exactly only 3 characters is unacceptable.

Oh how I wish 0 was the minimum grade where I live. The minimum here is -3. Pretty harsh.
