I have had this BHO's and things like for more than a week now, and they are driving me crazy.
I have downloaded several programs to "eliminate" them, but here is the Prob:
The files aren't deleted, they are just like stopped for a moment, as I figure out which file has the Spyware thing, I go to it and try to delete it.
The problem is that this file can't be deleted and it says something like "This file can't be deleted because it can "ruin" your system". So I think I have to use -DOS to delete it.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Have you deleted the spyware succesfuly?
If anyone of you can help, I would be grateful.
I don't know to use the -DOS program, so it can be dangerous if I mess up with it.

You should download 'Hijack this', run it, and do google searches for any dodgy files and delete them. Or you could ask in a computer forum for someone to go through your list and tell you which files to delete.

Scan the system for viruses, then use Spybot: Search and Destroy.

I had that problem once, my homepage kept changing to some stupid site, I was told to go into safemode and delete the files. I wasn't a computer whiz and just kept using my spyware deletion programs(it kept coming back) but eventually it just went away. May be different in your case but that's what happened to me

With a problem like that, you need to fix the registry entries to prevent the spyware from booting up in the first place, then restart your computer and delete them. Generally, you can google up the file name and get pages directing you on what to do.

I've got something thats hijacked my windows media player, changes all the websites, highlights certain words (passion, romance, single) and links me to stupid singles sites, and a massive amount of popups. I've got like 3 pop up stoppers and downloaded Ad-aware and spy bot search and destroy...but as much as i use those..i can tell im fighting a loosing battle
