Cod Or Battlefield? Or Halo?

Im talkin about the whole series. personally im a battlefield man, i hate playing cod multiplayer because i always die getting shot running around corners.

Considering the whole series, I'd say Halo; but I don't like where the series is going (didn't like Halo 4), so of these three choices I'd pick Battlefield. But my favorite FPS series is Crysis (and the one I'm best at... :P ).

Definitely Battlefield. The vehicles are amazing and the visual effects (sun glare, weapon glare) are stunning, although the water effects could use some work. Gmod's water effects are better.....

CoD beats Battlefield since Battlefield needs a code punched in to play multiplayer... both beat Halo for cross-compatibility, Halo beats both for gameplay. Halo.

Call of Duty or Halo are fun games to play with friends at one's house or via the internet. Battlefield 3 is more for only one person, but you can still play it over the internet, I guess.

Dude it depends which type of fps do you like to play. Call of Duty is like you don't really need a team play to win, a player can destroy all the opponent without help of the others however Battlefield needs more team play to get a fine game experience and win. I suggest you to play Call of Duty if you are alone, but if you have some friends to play with you can prefer Battlefield. (Sorry for the low English btw.)

Or an entirely different first person shooter series. For me it's probably the Brothers in Arms series.

I think it would be a little shortsighted to ignore other FPS franchises as well in this conversation, considering many of the responces in this thread. That said, I would go with Call of Duty, largely due to familarity of the series, and most of the games have been pretty good to excellent, and the multiplayer is generally fun if you can get past the immature cursing every 2 seconds or so.
