As inspiration tends to be hard to find in the wonderous world of writing, I've got a neat idea that could help us all, and provide some entertainment while we're at it. Rich or poor, dumb or smart: all -- or at least most -- of us, went to school, and, being rather keen of writing stories and everything that goes with it, when I think of school I think essays. Not the "informative", often boring kind: the kind where you had to write stories, and let your imagination free. You know, the kind of assignments where you'd get nothing but A's, and your mind couldn't even comprehend it when people told you about their bad results.
So, I ask you, do you still have any old essays lying around, or saved on your pc? Share them, here and now on Newgrounds, and have a laugh!
Sadly, all of my essays were written on paper.
I do remember I used to love it when we were asked to write a short narrative. The teacher would never place a word limit because people were barely writing as it is, or I don't really think he would have minded for someone to write more. I always used to go wild and write this really big and epic story inspired by whatever games I was playing at the time.
There was one assignment when we had to write a fable. We were told the characters had to be animals. So I had this rabbit called Jackson fighting against the evil Dark Rabbit Empire. I kept extending it even after the assignment was done. I also remember this was the first story where I had the characters speak directly.
good times

I've got it on paper too, but I could copy and paste an online group application here.
Go ahead.
