Great. Now go learn how to formulate a complete thought and type it on a computer. You're making Republicans look bad.

I think he's a troll if he doesn't realize that out of the two, liberals tend to be the more scientific ones...

We tried that before; didn't work out so great. I believe it was called The Crusades, The Inquisition, and The Dark Ages.

i believe you are wrong & that there'd be a lot less conflicts in the middle ages if it weren't for all those uppity nerds coming up with stuff like the printing press which the church of course would have to break down on . . . at the end of the day inventions like the printing press only made the world a more miserable place

Then you would be contradicting yourself since the printing press is what helped spread Christianity since the word of the Bible was now easier to spread.

Your contradicting yourself because you said that the world would be better without technology and yet it is technology which helped to spread Christianity thanks to advancements such as the printing press, which made the Bible available in many languages as well as simply more available.
Btw, I know you are always trying to troll, but I'm replying cuz I'm bored and not as many people get on the politics thread as I wished they did. Also, you still have to improve your trolling, for example right now you just set yourself up to be trapped in an argument to the point where it is so silly that it's pitiful and I wouldn't even call it trolling.
You would have been better off with stating something like:
"A science based government where religion is absent would not work because religion brings with it morals that help humanity."
Keep trying though, you've been improving.

real charming "by the way i know you are always trying to troll" is that what you say to everyone who proves you wrong? when you run out of options you decide to resort to personal attacks & slander in order to reduce other people's ethos? it backfired though since it speaks volumes of your own debate etiquette whilst detracting nothing from mine
Keep trying though, you've been improving.
even better . . . act condescending towards people who don't agree with you? i guess you've made yourself familiar with the master suppression techniques & decided to try to bully someone into resignation. you picked the wrong target though since i don't comply to your cyber bullying

No, your opinion was the world would be better off without technology and science, yet it is those two things which helped spread Christianity, thus you contradict yourself.

Lol that's a bit better.
And no, mostly just to you; anyone can tell just by looking at your post history and anyone whose been on the forums long enough know your reputation. You have certainly improved as a troll since your first posts young one, although your comedy value has gone down. Don't worry though, one day you'll get the hang of it, and will have an army of newbie's fall in your then mastered art of, frustrating people I guess, since it doesn't serve much other purpose than that.

same way i can tell from your posts & reputation you're full of sh*t? don't try to pull that on me . . . i have a spotless history of excellent posting & you can't find even one other person who supports you in your ridiculous assessment. if you're gonna play that card you might as well put your fingers in your ears & go na na na since you've decided on a coward's way out of a discussion you can't possibly win

Go ahead, post my thread history, I'm proud of it. In fact, post the link to the Anita Sarkeesian is Back thread, where I had that super long debate where the opponent conceded to our (it wasn't just me, but others such as Poxpower) side as being correct.
You'll also learn there that I can keep goin and goin, so if you got the time, bring it on.
However, you would be the worst example of a debater in a country ruled by science.
Oh by the way, by saying "same way i can tell from your posts & reputation you're full of sh*t?", your admitting your posts are full of shit. By saying "same way", your implying what I had said before hand is a truth, therefore confirming what I have said.
are you admitting that you're fishing for replies? who's the troll now? if your plan was to turn a serious thread into a sh*t flinging contest then good job

Am I?
And was it mine, or yours?
However, if you really feel like I am fishing for replies, and/or trolling, then why are you replying back?
At least I stated my reasons pretty much right off the bat as to why I'm replying back to you.

looks like you forgot to address the only topic relevant exchange in order to plug how much of a "not troll" you are. not surprising since you probably were aiming to derail this thread all along. if you've got nothing to applicable to the thread to say then i'll consider it your resignation . . . if you thought you could make me back down with attacks against my person when you failed to address my points then you were gravely mistaken

Well, laws are more about morality than science. As Penn said it's something that differs for every person. Since science has to follow the same rules (unless those are disproved of course) it would be hard to come up with a scientific consensus. I never saw James Randi talk about how laws should be or Neil deGrasse Tyson saying that much about his political views. I rarely even hear scientists saying the status on when life begins as a fetus.

But if you lack the brain capacity to not see how badly you failed at trolling with your logic, I may as well stop bothering with you and just hope you learned to get better, and talk to this bonsai tree on my desk, as it may have more intelligence than you. Oh, and since I know your dumb enough to try to bait a reply with a "witty" comeback:
I have not only stated my reason to ignore you now, but also proved it to the world, and have nothing more to say unless another that is not your or your alts says something (someone with enough reputation on the bbs to doube-sure that it is not your alt) otherwise to what I have just posted.
However, I'm sure you lack the capacity to understand what I just said, so I already know that you will nonetheless try a comeback that will only be futile.
Anyways, back on topic.

the bonsai tree might have better reading comprehension than yourself considering you were the one who brought up christianity & not me which is very plain to see if you're english literate . . . i haven't said anything about christianity having any sort of correlation with to what degree the world would be a good place to live in if you've actually read any of my posts in this thread. instead you singled me out & started some kind of ridiculous dirt-throwing farce with an arsenal of ad hominem & strawmen

Everything is ruled by science, at least in a sense. I assume that most countries use technology like computers and cell phones, which I'm fairly certain we all have science to thank for. We all use inventions, all of which were made using the scientific method. But yeah, it still isn't the same as politics.
